Thank you so much for your continued prayers on our behalf. Psalm 100:5 states, “For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.†First of all, it is so comforting to know that God is good no matter what may befall us. Secondly, it is wonderful to know how everlastingly strong the Lord’s mercy is. His mercy is so measureless that we cannot possibly comprehend it with our human mind. The truth of God’s Word has withstood the test of time and is exactly what we need for every situation in life, no matter how difficult it may be.
THE HOMEGOING OF MY BROTHER:
On Saturday morning, August 18, I was informed that my younger brother Gabriel, 29, had passed away suddenly from an apparent heart condition. That was the most difficult day of my life. Through the shock and grief, the Lord just seemed to wrap His loving arms around us as a family. He gave me some verses I am still clinging to from Psalms 31:2-3, “…be thou my strong rock, for an house of defense to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress…†It is good to know that through these times, God is enough.
Gabe left behind a godly testimony that speaks volumes of his relationship with the Lord and faithful service to Him. Please please pray for his dear wife Amy, who his due to deliver their first child in a few weeks. As you can imagine, she and her family need a tremendous amount of prayer at this time. Pray for Amy and little Eden Gabriella Joy as she arrives very soon.
There will be a memorial service for Gabe on September 8 at 1:00 pm at our home church, the Carrollton Baptist Temple in Carrollton, OH. Please pray that many might be saved as a result of Gabe’s life and testimony.
If you would like to be a blessing to Amy and Eden in some way, their address is: Amy Stover

TRAVELS
The Lord gave us safety as we traveled more than 8,400 miles in these past 2 months. We are thankful for 2 new churches who have partnered with us: Independent Baptist Church of Pound, VA and Bible Baptist Church of Pembroke Pines, FL. It has been a blessing to visit with many of you during this furlough, and we look forward to returning to Peru in January!
Thank you for striving together with us in prayer at this time.
Praising the Lord for the promise of Heaven,
Robert, Sara, Josiah, Caleb, Joshua, & Lydia Stover
