I have always especially enjoyed the Christmas season from the time that I was a child until now. Reading the Christmas story in Luke 2 is always a highlight. Verse 14 says, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” From the beginning of time, the angels had sung praise to God, but they had never been able to proclaim, “peace on earth.” Jesus is the One who brings true peace to any life. This peace is what the world lacks. May the Lord help us this Christmas season as we proclaim the message of peace that only Jesus can bring!

Summer Ministry Opportunities:
December 14, we had the opportunity to present our Christmas cantata, “El Don de Dios” (The Greatest Gift). We had 74 people in attendance, including 4 first-time visitors. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to work in the hearts of those who heard the message given: that the greatest gift is salvation through Jesus Christ.

December 31, we are planning a “Vision Night,” in which we will share testimonies of how God has blessed in this past year along with goals and plans for the coming year.

January 12-17, we will be heading to teen camp in the city of Camaná. Please pray that many young people’s lives would be touched during this week.
January 28 – February 1, we will be having revival services and a celebration for our church’s anniversary. Please pray that God would do a work in the lives of our people, for many visitors, and that we would see souls saved.

In February, we have 3 weeks of VBS planned to be held in the 3 areas where we currently hold Saturday afternoon Bible clubs. Throughout the year, God has opened doors for us to work with an average of 25 children in each club. The clubs continue to grow, and we have seen an increase in the number of children from the clubs who now come to church on Sunday mornings. On December 20th, we will be having Christmas parties with the children. Please pray that God would work in the lives of these children and their families through the special summertime events.

New Church Plant: Tacna is a city of more than 300,000 residents and has many areas that need a good Bible-preaching church. Willy Pari, who has been the assistant pastor in our church for the past 2 1/2 years, has been burdened to plant a church in a part of town called Ciudad Nueva. Please pray that the Lord would help them as they seek to raise the needed support, find a suitable location for meetings, and begin to minister in this needy area. If you would like to help Brother Willy with a special gift, you may send it to Macedonia, marked “Tacna Church Plant.”
Prayer Requests:
It has been a blessing to work with the Jonathan Earnhart family for nearly 2 years here in Tacna. However, due to the health of their youngest daughter, Madyson, and other circumstances, they have made the difficult decision to return to the States. Please pray that God would help them in this time of transition and would use them in the place they will be working now.

Please pray for wisdom as we seek to sell our 5-passenger car and purchase something into which we all fit.
Thank you for all that you do for us here in Peru. We could not do what we do without you. From our family to yours, we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
Rejoicing in the Risen Savior,
Robert, Sara, Josiah, Caleb, Joshua, Lydia, and Zachary Stover
