Dear Prayer Partners,
Greetings in the name of our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We are so thankful to have the opportunity to go and preach the gospel to the lost and needy in Peru. It is encouraging as we read in Psalm 23:1, “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.” I am so glad that He is my Shepherd and desire to see lost sheep gathered into the fold of the Lord Jesus Christ. My wife and I rejoice in the opportunities that await us in the country of Peru to serve our “Good Shepherd.”
The month of October has been a busy one as we have traveled to churches in 5 different states. We had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people who said that they would be praying for us and considering us for financial support in the days ahead. The Lord has graciously allowed us to see almost exactly 40% of our needed support come in. We are excitedly looking forward to next year when, Lord willing, we will be able to leave for Peru.
The Lord blessed Sara and I in a special way over the last month. We found out that Sara’s car had some mechanical problems that needed to be repaired, but the Lord allowed us to travel safely to all our meetings and provided in an unexpected way the needed funds to repair the car. I also had the opportunity to schedule several new meetings and was able to contact more pastors for the days ahead. Please pray that the Lord would help us to have a full schedule of meetings for this upcoming year.
Sara is very glad to report that she has only a few more weeks left in this semester at Crown College. She is very eager about finishing up. Please pray that she will have the strength that she needs to finish strong.
Thank you all so very much for holding us up in prayer. We cannot do the ministry that the Lord has called us to do without your prayers and support.
Serving with gladness,
Robert and Sara Stover
